Pray for the Students of the Sports Ministry that God has allowed us to be a part of this year.

Dear Athlete,

I wanted to share that it has been a pleasure to be a part of your journey this year and the past. I know this year has had more struggles and circumstances than other years. I just want to encourage you in that you have endured and made it through some tough times. Sometimes life is not fair, but the old saying is, “when life gives you lemons will you make lemonade, or will you be sour as a lemon?” You guys have decided to make lemonade and push through these uncertain times.

God loves you! Sometimes you may feel lonely or maybe you are having a hard time, but I want you to know that you are the most important person to God. It would be an injustice if I did not share the most important thing in my life who has loved me and cared for me. His name is Jesus Christ. There will come a point in your life when you realize that you cannot do life alone. But the good news is that you do not have to. In Romans 10:13 it says, “whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”. Does not matter where you come from God has a plan for your life. You are uniquely gifted and designed to fulfill His purposes. You can have peace and joy during your time in this unfair world. It is a free gift – A. Admit you are a sinner (have you ever told a lie or thought bad things about people?) “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. B. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior- “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16. C. Confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” Romans 10:9. By doing this your life will not be perfect but you will never be alone and one day we will all be in heaven together. “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you” Joshua 1:5.

I hope and pray you have a safe and wonderful time with your family. If you need someone to talk to please reach out to me. You are wanted and needed in the sight of God. Remember to be thankful and generous throughout your life.

God Bless,
